Aghor Gurupeeth Brahmnisthalaya, Banora is source of Knowledge, Karma and Faith illuminating lives of many people. This gurupeeth is not only for propagation of spiritualism and religion; it is dedicated for total eradication of social evils like dowry, alcoholism, illiteracy and other vices from our society. The Gurupeeth is providing quality education, value system and primary healthcare facilities to poor and needy people of adjacent villages.

The Ashram was established on 31st July 1993 by Pujya Baba Priyadarshi Ram Ji at Banora in Raigarh District of Chattisgarh after Mahanirvan of Aghoreshwar Bhagwan Ram Baba. The Gurupeeth is spread over 3.50 acres of land donated by devotees of Aghoreshwar, Shri Ghasiram Ji, Shri Nandlal Ji and Shri Amrit Lal Ji.

Lack of education, primary health care and various social ills like alcoholism, poverty etc. were some of the vices prevalent in the nearby villages. Banora Ashram provided a ray of hope to local people for improvement in their living conditions.

Pujya Baba's kindness has touched lives of many people. He believes in humanity and continuously works for the benefit of mankind. Whoever comes in his shelter experiences divine connection with him.

The Ashram functions as per Pujya Baba's guidance with the co-operation of Ashramvasis.
